Active24 DNS setup
If your domain is registered at Active24, connecting it to Redirect Supply means changing a few records in the Active24 Customer Center. Your domain stays at Active24, and your registration and email don’t change. It takes about five minutes of work, though Active24 says new records can take a few hours to spread.
Before you start
You need two things ready before you open Active24.
Add the domain in Redirect Supply

Add your domain in Redirect Supply first. Its settings page shows the records you’ll need, including a TXT value that’s unique to your domain. Keep that page open in another tab. This guide covers a root domain like brand.cz. If you’re connecting a subdomain like go.brand.cz, the DNS setup guide explains the differences.
Check that Active24 runs your DNS
Records you add at Active24 only count when your domain uses Active24’s nameservers. If the domain points to Cloudflare or another provider, add the records there instead. The Cloudflare DNS setup guide covers the most common case.
Open DNS records at Active24
All the changes in this guide happen on one page.
Find DNS záznamy
Sign in to the Active24 Customer Center (Zákaznické centrum) and open Domény. Open your domain’s detail and select DNS záznamy. A form for new records sits at the top, and your current records are listed below it.
Records you’ll see there
New Active24 domains point to Active24’s parking page through an A record with the IP 81.95.96.29. Domains that were connected to Active24 hosting point to the hosting server instead, usually with a record for www as well. Both are in Redirect Supply’s way. Not sure what else counts? The conflict table on your domain’s page in Redirect Supply lists every record that blocks the setup.
Clear the way
Before adding anything, remove what’s already pointing your domain elsewhere.
Remove old root and www records
Select Smazat next to the A record on the root domain, including the default 81.95.96.29 one, and next to any record on www. If there’s an AAAA record on the root domain, delete it too, or visitors on IPv6 will keep reaching the old server.
Remove Active24 redirects
If the domain is redirected through an Active24 service or hosting, remove that redirect first. Active24’s own redirect competes with Redirect Supply’s records for the same domain.
Leave email records alone
MX records and email TXT records like SPF or DKIM keep your email working. They don’t affect redirects, so leave them exactly as they are.
Add the Redirect Supply records
You’ll add four records using the form at the top of DNS záznamy. Leave the name empty for the root domain, and enter only the prefix for anything else. Active24 adds your domain. Keep the default TTL.
Name | Type | Value |
|---|---|---|
www | CNAME | proxy.redirect.supply |
(leave empty) | A | 188.114.96.9 |
(leave empty) | A | 188.114.97.9 |
_cf-custom-hostname | TXT | Value from your domain’s settings page |
Add two A records for the root domain
Choose A as the type, leave the name empty, enter 188.114.96.9 as the value, and select Přidat DNS záznam. Add a second A record with an empty name and the value 188.114.97.9.
Add the www CNAME
Choose CNAME, enter www as the name and proxy.redirect.supply as the value, and select Přidat DNS záznam. Active24 doesn’t allow a CNAME on the root domain, which is why the root uses A records.
Add the TXT record
Choose TXT, enter _cf-custom-hostname as the name, paste the value from your domain’s settings page in Redirect Supply, and select Přidat DNS záznam. On some less common domain endings, Redirect Supply also asks for an _acme-challenge TXT record. Add it the same way if you see it. This rarely happens with .cz domains.
Check the list
Each record is saved as soon as you add it, with no separate publish step. Look over the list to make sure all four are there and nothing still points to 81.95.96.29.
Check the status in Redirect Supply
Once the records are in, you’re done in Active24.
Check the conflict table

You don’t have to wait to find out if something’s wrong. Your domain’s page in Redirect Supply shows a conflict table with the records currently on your domain. Anything that blocks the setup, like the default parking record or a leftover www record, is flagged there along with what to do about it. Fix those first, and the rest is just waiting.
How long it takes
Active24 says new records take 2 to 24 hours to spread. They’re often picked up sooner, but give it a few hours before you start troubleshooting.
When the domain goes Active

Redirect Supply checks your records automatically. When it finds them, the domain switches to Active and HTTPS is issued on its own, with no extra steps from you. See Domain statuses for what each status means along the way.
Active24-specific issues
Most problems on Active24 come from the default parking record or a slow update.
The domain still shows the Active24 parking page
The default A record with 81.95.96.29 is still there. Delete it, then check again in a private window after some time.
Active24 won’t save a CNAME on the root domain
That’s expected. Active24 doesn’t allow a CNAME on the root domain. Use the two A records for the root and the CNAME only for www.
Records have no effect
Your domain probably uses nameservers outside Active24. Add the records with the provider your nameservers point to.
The domain is stuck on Pending
Open the conflict table on your domain’s page in Redirect Supply. It shows which record is blocking the setup, usually the parking record or an old www record. Remove what it flags and give Active24 a few hours. Record conflicts covers the common cases.
