Removing a domain
Removing a domain is permanent and instant, there's no grace period like account deletion, so it's worth knowing exactly what happens before you click Delete.
Where to remove a domain
There are two ways to do it. From the main Domains list, click the ⋯ menu next to the domain and select Delete. Or from the domain's own page, click the ⋯ menu in the top right and select Delete domain, this view also shows you the redirect count and when the domain was added, useful to double-check before removing.
What happens when you delete it
Deletion is immediate and deletes everything tied to that domain, all of its redirect rules go with it. There's no recovery afterward, if you want the same setup back, you'll need to add the domain again and recreate its rules from scratch. If you might need them again, consider exporting the domain's redirects first (see Exporting Redirects).
Cleaning up DNS afterward
Removing the domain from Redirect Supply doesn't touch your DNS records automatically. We recommend removing the CNAME, A, and TXT records you added (see DNS Setup Guide) so your domain stops pointing at Redirect Supply once you're done with it.
Re-adding the domain later
Once deleted, the domain is freed up immediately, you can add it back to your account, or anyone else can add it to theirs. It also frees up a slot against your plan's domain limit right away (see Plans & Billing).
