Domain statuses
Every domain in Redirect Supply is in one of three states: Pending, Connected, or Not Configured. Your DNS records are checked automatically, so status updates on their own as your setup changes.
Pending
What it means: The domain has been added, but its DNS records haven't been verified yet. This is the starting state for every domain.
What you can do: Create and edit redirect rules right away, they're saved and ready to go the moment the domain connects. You can also open DNS Settings anytime to see exactly which records still need adding.
Do redirects work yet? No. The domain is registered on our end, but nothing routes until DNS is pointed correctly and verified.
Connected
What it means: DNS is correctly configured and verified, redirects are live.
What you can do: Everything, full redirect management, no DNS action needed.
Do redirects work? Yes, fully.
Not configured
What it means: A DNS check found one or more required records missing or incorrect, either during initial setup or, if something changed later, on a previously connected domain.
What to do: Check DNS Setup Guide against what's actually in your DNS provider, fix any missing or mismatched records. Once corrected, the domain reconnects automatically on the next check, no need to re-add anything.
Do redirects work? No, until the records check out again.
SSL status is separate
SSL certificate progress is tracked inside DNS Settings, not in the main status badge, a domain can show Connected while SSL is still finishing in the background. See SSL Certificate Setup for what those stages mean.
If a domain seems stuck
Domain Stuck on Pending and Redirects Not Working cover the most common causes.
